DESCRIPTION: This Bulova clock radio has a fine jewelry look to it. High quality manufacturing is apparent inside and out. Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Bulova in 1959 timeframe in excellent+ working and physical condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in excellent plus condition. No cracks, chips or major scratches. This radio is over 50 years old! All original everything. No repaints. No cabinet repairs needed. Front gold metal mesh grill is original with no dents, warping, or dings. No oxidation or rust. The knobs are in excellent condition. No missing little clock or alarm set knobs. The clear dial face has no cracks and is clear. The clock face is clean with no tarnishing or greening. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. No broken letters off the front Bulova logo which is common. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. There is a appliance timer function in back. No clock or dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Backing board is in good condition with crisp square corners. The replacement power cord and safety polarized plug are brand new condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
