DESCRIPTION: AM shortwave tabletop tube radio manufactured by Schneider Freres Radio TV Paris in 1959-1962 timeframe in excellent+ working and physical condition. This radio has excellent audio sound quality and picks up lots of stations on shortwave and AM bands. Loud and clear for its size. No cracks, splits, abrasions, or missing material anywhere on the cabinet! All original molded factory plastic. Original factory molded colors no repaints no touch no over spray. None needed. All original knobs, dial pointer, etc are present, working, not missing securely fastened. This radio is practically 60 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is crisp and clear. The tuning dial cover is intact no cracks securely attached. The dial face shows various European countries. Neat! No missing numbering, dots or dashes, or anything. No smudges or yellowing. The tuning and volume dials work fine no slipping no sticky spots. The unit powers on and off with a definite click. Push buttons all work. All out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The original power cord and plug is in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. Comes with AC power converter for use with US mains. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
