Limon Yellow Mid Century 1959 Philco Model F813-124 Rare Vacuum Tube AM Radio Cuteness Overload!

DESCRIPTION: This is one of Philco more desirable designs. Looks good from every angle. Especially in this rare yellow color combined with its proportions, the result is extreme cuteness. The simpler white fascia band instead of the normal pinhole variety makes this design look sleeker. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Philco in 1959 time frame in excellent+condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in excellent plus condition. No cracks, chips, or major scratches which is common in this model especially along the top tuning ridge. This radio is original factory molded yellow color plastic. It is not repainted no over spray no touch up. None needed. The front metal applique trim is securely attached with no waves, dents or dings couple fleabites of paint loss. This radio is over 60 years old!  The knobs are in condition condition with no cracks no broken mount posts. The metal insert is not missing no pitting and no tarnish. The tuning knob works fine and smooth no slipping. The tuning station numbers are in near perfect condition.  All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The brand new power cord and plug is good original working condition. No exposed wiring or fatigue by the interconnect that is common. Backing board is original with crisp square edges. Original factory label on the bottom is mostly intact with some bubbling of the paper, slight yellowing, all still legible. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
