LaFontaine Pink Black 1959 Zenith Model C624V AM Vacuum Tube Clock Radio Works Great and Sassy Looking!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith in 1959 in excellent working and physical condition. No cracks, or major scratches anywhere on cabinet. Upper right corner edge has a small rounded chip. Usually these corners are chipped off far worse. All knobs are original and securely attached. Missing some of the knob chrome paint. Usually, this model suffers from a lot of paint loss on the knobs. Factory front grill fabric is original and securely attached on all corners. Usually this model suffers from corners peeling apart but not this one. Original factory molded colors. No repaint. No touch up. No over spray. None needed. This radio is over 60 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. Raised front Zenith logo is levitated in front of the surface of the grill. Very cool like a hood emblem. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. The clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function in back work. The sleep function works. Snooze button works. Clock knobs are original securely attached with no broken posts. Sleep timer knob is more yellowed than the ON OFF ALARM AUTO knob. There is a appliance timer function in back and works. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. No missing bottom factory labels. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
