Ivory Cream Silvertone 1947 Model 6016 AM Tube Bakelite Radio Plays Like A Champ!
DESCRIPTION: Popular model back in its day from the once prominent Sears company catalog number 6016. This Silvertone is in excellent working and physical condition. Cabinet is bakelite with original factory ivory paint finish. There are fleabite dings and scratched paint here and there on this antique radio due to normal use. This vintage radio is not repainted, no over spray no touch up. None needed. The original grill cloth is clean, no fraying no rips, no discoloration. Volume and tuning knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is one of the better ones for listening purposes. This radio is over 70 years old! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. No missing logos or labels. The bottom label is intact. The tuning dial works fine. No slipping. Volume works. The tubes are working fine. Dial light works and lights up brightly. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. Brand new replacement power cord. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
