DESCRIPTION: Here's a brave attempt at product differentiation. This vintage radio manufactured by Fleetwood Electrical Products Manufacturing Co. LTD. of Montreal, Canada in 1956 in excellent working and physical condition. Rare and beautiful. Sometimes these models are available in dark green, black, and ivory, mostly from American manufacturer Capehart. This red version from Fleetwood is very rare.

SOUND QUALITY:  Picks up AM stations around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. 

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded red plastic. Not repainted no over spray not touched up. Not needed.. No chips, or major scratches. Hairline crack beginning from back top edge not across whole top. Has been reinforced underneath to prevent further cracking. Wonderful plaid factory painted metal grill is in excellent condition with no dents or dings, rust or flaking, securely attached. Bottom of the cabinet has a large crack, not visible from the top or front. Has been repaired and reinforced. Original tuning window clear plastic is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or warping. Numbers are clear and readable no flaking or fading.

KNOBS: Factory original matching knobs are in excellent condition not missing metal center inserts, excellent condition. No broken attach posts.

LOGO: Front factory gold Fleetwood logo is in good condition with chrome paint rub off, oxidized by age. No chipped off letters.

DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: No clock

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. Both Intermediate Frequency Transformers (IFTs) have been rebuilt to ensure static-free performance. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: The brand new replacement power cord and safety polarized plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. 

BACKING BOARD: Original factory backing board is in very good condition not cracked or ripped. Top center support is a little fatigued. Factory printing is readable.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing factory labels.
