Sea Mist Green 1955 Westinghouse Model H549T5 Vintage Tube AM Clock Radio Cutie and Sounds Dreamy!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Westinghouse in 1955 time frame excellent+ cosmetic and working condition. Cabinet is in excellent plus condition. Original factory molded color. Corners are repaired due to repair of chips and cracks however, no overspray to the cabinet. No major scratches. This radio is over 55 years old! All three original little clock knobs are still present. These often go missing over the years. The clock bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing. No stress fractures, yellowing, or major scratches to the front clock panel. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. Some rub off of Westinghouse paint from raised logo. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. This radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. The clock motor is quiet on this one. The alarm works. The clock and alarm set function work. The replacement cable is in excellent working condition. No clock or dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge, The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Bottom factory labels are mostly intact. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
