Wood Grain and Modern Metal 1967-71 Arvin 36R07 AM FM Vintage Solid State Radio Sounds Outta-site!
DESCRIPTION: This radio sounds so good it will make your hair feather back! Vintage AM FM radio manufactured by Arvin in early 70s time frame in excellent working and physical condition. Cabinet is original faux wood grain plastic. The front matrix grill is in excellent condition no dents no dings no waviness. Front corner Arvin logo brandishes 'Electric Transistor' which not only clarifies but tries to impress. No cracks, splits, or major scratches. There is a chip on the front bottom right corner. Knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is over 40 years old! No dial light not designed with one but one can be added. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. The power cable is securely attached. New stress relief bushing installed to prevent cord fatigue. All leaky and out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
