Maroon Red 1951 Crosley Model E30MN AM FM Vacuum Tube Radio Excellent Condition! Sounds Great!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM FM radio manufactured by Crosley in 1951 time framew. This radio is in excellent working and physical condition.
CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original molded Bakelite cabinet factory painted red marron color. No cips no major scratches. There is a short hairline crack beginning on the back bottom right edge. Original factory paint has small fleabite doings throughout. Not repainted no over spray no touch up. The front grill cloth is factory original with a few runs not, but not ripped, or coming loose at the edges. No rips, no yellowing no staining. Front clear tunig dial cover is original is in excellent condition. Not cracked or chipped. Not warped or yellowed and securely attached.
SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM and FM station around the dial clearly and loudly. FM dipole antenna is included for even better reception.
LOGO: Arvin grill logo is intact and securely fastened.
KNOBS: All three factory orginal knobs are original and securely attached no cracks. The tuning dial works no slipping no squeaking no sticky or stuck spots. Band selector knob works. Volume ON/OFF knob works as designed.
SPEAKERS: Original factory 6.5" speaker
DIAL LIGHTS: Dial light lights brightly.
POWER CABLE: The original power cord and plug are excellent original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: Paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.
BACKING BOARD: Factory original backing board is intact securely attached printing faded.
FACTORY LABELS: Bottom factory labels are intact, readable. Original factory label glue has yellowed.
