BLUETOOTH MP3: This particular radio has been modified to play Bluetooth MP3. Plays MP3 with cable or wirelessly from any MP3 playing device over 30 ft. Includes 3.5mm to mono RCA cable. Just plug in your MP3 player or connect wirelessly via Bluetooth. Works with any iPod, iPAD, iPhone, or Android. Switch from MP3 to AM radio with rocker switch installed on back panel. Sounds great! Bluetooth receiver is attached with Velcro tape and can be easily relocated to front, back or either side.

DESCRIPTION: Understated and elegant. Very popular design back in the early 50s! Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by General Electric in the 1950 excellent working and physical condition. Cabinet is original factory molded ivory white. No chips or major scratches. There are two hairline cracks on the bottom that have been repaired. All knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is over 60 years old! The tuning dial works fine no slipping no sticky spots. Dial light works and following the arc of the tuning pointer. Nifty! Tuning clear cover is securely attached no cracks, no chips, no scratches. Tuning back display is original with oxidization speckle throughout. The replacement power cord and safety polarized plug is in perfect working condition. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. No exposed wiring. Original backing board is in excellent condition. No missing factory labels. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. No missing factory labels. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
