Big Brown Beautiful Bakelite 1947 Admiral Model 7T10 Vintage Vacuum Tube AM Radio Sweet!
DESCRIPTION: Picks up AM stations loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Original factory molded Bakelite cabinet is in excellent condition with no chips, no major scratches! There is a tight hairline crack along the right bottom side. This radio is over 70 years old and going strong! The replacement knobs are in excellent condition. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on on the dial numbering. The ON OFF volume control works and modulates volume smoothly and evenly across the attenuation range no crackling no static. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping no sticky spots. Dial light lights brightly. The tuning dial is clear plastic no numbers or letters flaking no cracks no warping no yellowing. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Backing board is in excellent condition with crisp square corners. The power cord and polarized plug is a brand new replacement with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. No missing factory labels. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
