Avocado Green Mid Century Vintage 1962 Zenith H519F AM Tube Clock Radio Works Great Excellent Condition!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith in 1962 in excellent physical and working condition. No chips, cracks, or major scratches anywhere on cabinet. All knobs are original and securely attached. Original factory molded colors. Not repainted not over sprayed no touch up. None needed. This radio is over 55 years old! Loud as heck and clear sounding up and down the dial! No dial light. Not designed with one. But one can ne added for an extra charge. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. Clock motor is silent. No humming no whirring sounds no ticking noises. The alarm doesn't seem to work. The clock and alarm set function work. The sleep timer works. The alarm switch has 'holiday' setting (?). There is a appliance timer function in back. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. Original factory backing board is intact and securely attached with legible printing. No missing bottom factory labels. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
