DESCRIPTION: Table top tube radio manufactured by Admiral in 1959-60 excellent+ working condition. This is a rare hard to find model in an original factory molded rare attractive color. Comes with original factory user manual! I've never seen one. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment No chips, abrasions, major scratches or missing pieces. There is a heat crack on top The front clock bezel is clear transparent with no cracks or hazing. The ivory face is original factory molded color not yellowed white. Knobs are black. All the lettering is still clear and legible. The gold clock surround painted trim doesn't look great but it's there. This radio is over 50 years old! No dial light not designed with one. All the dial numbers are crisp and clear. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. No slipping. The volume knob works no scratching noises. The clock works and keeps accurate time. The clock motor is silent no buzzing no humming no grinding noises. The alarm and alarm set functions work. The sleep and sleep timer works. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets.
