1965 Sky Blue Vintage Portable Pocket ID IDEAL Solid State AM 6 Transistor Radio Needless to Say Rare!
DESCRIPTION: Vintage 1965 pocket AM radio made by Ideal. This vintage portable battery operated AM radio manufactured by Ideal is in excellent+ working and physical condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial. Cabinet is in excellent condition. Original factory molded blue plastic. No cracks, chips or major scratches. Some dings along the front edges. The aluminum front trim is a little dinged up. This radio is over 55 years old! The knobs and push buttons are in excellent working condition. No missing ink, smudges, or rubbed-off lettering. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. No power cord. Battery will drain if left and stored with in the radio, so radio should be stored without battery installed in the radio while not in use. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
