DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio manufactured by Admiral in 1957 in very good physical and excellent working condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations around the dial without need of external antenna attachment.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is factory original molded cyan turquoise color plastic. All original factory molded colors through and through. Not repainted no touch up no over spray. There is a tight hairline crack on top and on the bottom back left side. No chips or major scratches. The front ivory white panel and grill are in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or major scratches.

KNOBS: Factory original matching volume, tuning, and clock function knobs are in excellent condition and securely attached.

LOGO:  No missing logos.

DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! There is a working appliance timer function in back. Both Intermediate Frequency Transformers (IFTs) have been rebuilt to ensure static-free performance. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications.  The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.

POWER CORD: The brand new replacement power cord and safety polarized plug are in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. 

BACKING BOARD: No back board. Not designed with one. Color matching cyan turquoise back cover is in very good condition.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: Bottom label is intact and readable.

CLOCK: Clock works, keeps accurate time. Has clock motor whirring sound. Alarm works. Wake to radio on only no buzzer. No sleep timer. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering.
