Sienna Brown 1956 Silvertone Model 7006 AM Vacuum Tube Radio Looks Great Sounds Marvelous!
DESCRIPTION: Multi-contoured profile vacuum tube AM radio manufactured by Sear Roebuck Silvertone in 1956 time frame in excellent working and very good physical condition.
SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment.
CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded brown plastic. Not repainted. NO touch up. No over spray. Repaired hairline crack on top. No chips, or major scratches or missing pieces. Tuning clear cover is original crystal clear no crack no scratches and securely mounted. Star Trek tuning pointer is the money on this design. Front grill fabric is original factory tweed with no runs, no strains, no separated edges.
KNOBS: Tuning and and volume knobs are ivory yellowed with age and normal use. No missing center caps not designed with them.
LOGO: No missing Silvertone logos. Has original SIlvertone consumer label on right side which is readable.
DIAL LIGHT: No tuning or clock dial lights. Not designed with this one. But can be added for an extra charge.
CLOCK: No clock
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.
BACKING BOARD: Original factory backing board is in excellent condition and securely mounted. Factory printing is faded.
FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing bottom labels. Intact but yellowed not peeling.
