DESCRIPTION: AM Tabletop tube clock radio manufactured by Airline in the 1950s time frame still in excellent working and physical condition. This radio has a mid century modern look. Would look great in your split level or high ranch home. No chips, splits, abrasions, or missing material anywhere on the cabinet! Original factory molded color. Not repainted. No over spray. No touch up. No exterior repairs or modifications of any kind. None needed. All original knobs, dial pointer, etc are present, working, not missing. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial. Excellent design in a cool, rare color! The volume and tuning knobs are original and are securely attached. This radio is over 50 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is crisp and clear. No missing numbering, dots or dashes, or anything. No smudges or missing lettering. The back panel is a original in good condition. The tuning and volume dials work fine. Tuning dial does not slip no sticky spots. The unit powers on and off with a definite click. No dial light. Not designed with one. But can be added for an extra charge. All out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The original power cord and plug is in good working condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. No exposed wiring. No missing bottom factory labels. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
