Deco Brown Bakelite 1941 Emerson Model DW-330B AM Tube Radio Sounds Marvelous Excellent Plus Condition!
DESCRIPTION: Resplendent with golden age of radio deco flair! Beautiful AM tabletop vacuum tube radio manufactured by Emerson in the 1941 time frame still in excellent+ working and physical condition. This radio has a nice Art Deco style with nice ornate ridge design on top and sides. No cracks, chips, or major scratches! No repairs or repaints of any kind on this vintage radio. None needed. All knobs, dial pointer, etc are original, working, and securely attached. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need for external wire antenna. Original cabinet of this antique radio is in glossy condition. Small repaired chip on bottom back left corner. The volume and tuning knobs are original matching plastic securely attached. The tuning and volume knobs are in excellent condition. This radio is over 70 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is crisp and clear. Look at the neat Art Deco-ish type font! No missing numbering, dots or dashes, or anything. No smudges or yellowing. The unit powers on and off with a definite click. Tuning dial clear plastic window is factory original with no cracks no warping slight yellowing. Dial light lights brightly. Cardboard backing board is not missing, intact and excellent condition! Most examples from this series have thick cardboard backing boards that go missing over the years. All out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. The new replacement power cord and safety polarized plug are in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. Little exposed wiring on the back of the radio. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
