Pure White 1965 Zenith Model X174W AM Tube Clock Radio Works Great!!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith in 1965 in excellent working condition. No cracks, chips or major scratches anywhere on cabinet. All knobs are original and securely attached. The snooze button was cracked then re-glued. The tuning knob is not missing its center metal cap which is common. Original factory molded colors. No repaint. No touch up. No over spray. This radio is over 60 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. The sleep function works. The clock motor is quiet on this one. There is a appliance timer function in back. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
