No cracks, chips, or major scratches. This brown Bakelite cabinet is beautiful mirror glossy no scuffs no swirly micro scratches. Original factory molded color no repaints no over spray and no touch ups. None needed. Knobs are original and securely attached. This vintage radio plays great with or without an external antenna attachment. This radio is over 65 years old! All the dial numbers are crisp and clear. Volume on/off switch works. AM and shortwave selector works. The tuning dial is clear no yellowing no missing center metal cap. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. No slipping. So neat! All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! Bottom factory label is not missing. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications.
