DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by RCA Victor in 1957 excellent working and physical condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment.

CABINET CONDITION: All factory molded original colors no repaints no touchups no overspray. None needed. Honey beige plastic back molded color through and through. No cracks or major scratches anywhere on the cabinet. There are small edge chips on top front edge and corner. White fron grill is factory molded color as well not repainted. The clear dial face has no cracks, no yellowing, no warping. The clock black panel is in excellent condition with no rust, fading, warping, or stains. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. Some gold fasding on tuning back panel. Center RCA logo is intact not missing.

KNOBS: The knobs are in excellent condition with no cracked or chipped flanges. Tuning and volume knobs are not missing center metal gold insert which is usually the case. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping.

DIAL LIGHT: The dial lights lights up brightly. Replace with warm white LED for long life.

CLOCK: The clock works and keep accurate time. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. The alarm works. The alarm buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. Sleep timer works. Snooze works.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. 

POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug is in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.

FACTORY LABELS: Bottom factory labels are mostly intact. 

PROVENANCE: Previous owner identity is not known. Was gently used then stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to cigarette smoking, moisture, or pets.
