DESCRIPTION: This digital alarm clock AM FM radio and cassette player was manufactured by Soundesign in the eighties in excellent working and physical condition. 

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM and FM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Original FM antenna is wire comes out the back. Cassette player works and sounds great.

CASSETTE PLAYER: Play button works. Forward (>>) works. Stop works. Rewind (<<) works. No Record feature. Cassette door opens and closes by pulling the little side grip pad. Cassette door hinges are solid not cracked or mis-aligned and stays securely shut when not in use. Cassettes not included. 

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original molded seafoam turquoise plastic at the factory. Not repainted no touch up not over sprayed. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. Original factory printing and graphics design for time and alarm set, band selector, ON/OFF/Alarm/Buzz functions all clear, readable, not faded or worn off. 

KNOBS: All factory black knobs and thumbwheels are in excellent condition, none missing, and all securely attached. The tuning dial works fine no slipping no sticky spots. On, off, auto, and buzz selector switch is working as designed not crackly sounding. Dimmer slide switch works. AM FM band selector works. Volume thumbwheel works not crackly sounding.

LOGO: No missing logos. 

DIAL LIGHT: None. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: Front red digital display is clear and bright original red color LED. All segments of digital display are bright. Brightness does not flutter or get dim unreliably Does not blink visibly. Clock keeps accurate time. AM or PM LED indicator dot is accurate. Wake to music (AUTO) or buzzer. Clock and alarm time is set using little black buttons in front which are all working. Alarm goes off correctly at the set time. Sleep timer works. 

CLOCK BUTTONS:

Clock Time Set: Hold press Alarm Reset and press Time Set to fast set clock time forward. Hold press Alarm Reset and press Hour to slow set clock time forward. Hold press Alarm Reset and press Minute to slow set clock time back. 

Alarm Time Set: Hold press Alarm Set and press Time Set to fast set alarm time forward. Hold press Alarm Set and press Hour to slow set alarm time forward. Hold press Alarm Set and press Minute to slow set alarm time back.  

Sleep Time Set: Hold press Sleep and press Time Set to fast set sleep time forward. Hold press Sleep and press Hour to slow set sleep time forward. Hold press Sleep and press Minute to slow set sleep time back. Press Alarm Set to turn sleep timer early.

It's confusing but it all works.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. 

POWER CORD: Original AC household power cord and plug are in excellent working condition. No breaks, no splits, no repair with electrical tape, or other. No exposed wiring.

BATTERY:  Standard available in stores 9V transistor. Not included. Battery compartment is clean. Battery snap cover is intact and securely attached.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing bottom factory labels. 

PROVENANCE: Previous owner identity is not known. Was gently used then stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to cigarette smoking, moisture, or pets.
