Ivory White 1955 Westinghouse H-435T5 AM Vacuum Tube Retro Radio Excellent Condition Sounds Great!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM antique radio manufactured by Westinghouse in 1955 in excellent working and physical condition. Dual speaker system sounds great!
CABINET CONDITION: Factory molded ivory white plastic cabinet is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or major scratches. The front aluminum decorative trim piece is original excellent condition with no dents or dings. All original factory molded colors through and through. Not repainted. No over spray no touch up. .A heat shield has installed inside underneath.
SOUND QUALITY: This radio picks up AM stations real clearly and very loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Dual speaker system.
DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one. But one can be added for an extra charge.
KNOBS: The volume and tuning knobs are original matching ivory color plastic with silver metal inserts. Tuning knob works with no slipping, sticky, or stuck spots. The volume knob pulls outward to turn radio on and is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or broken attachment post and securely attached.
CLOCK: None
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: The capacitors been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications.
POWER CORD: New replacement power cord and safety polarized plug is in excellent working condition with no breaks, splits, or exposed wiring.
BACKING BOARD: Original backing board is intact in excellent condition. Factory printing is clear and readable.
FACTORY LABELS: No missing factory labels
PROVENANCE: Previous owner identity is not known. Was gently used then stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to cigarette smoking, moisture, or pets.
