DESCRIPTION: Rare and illustrative model in excellent plus condition!. This design epitomizes the late 60s futuristic vision. Has a sleek inclined dash with multitude of dial displays and knobs like a NASA mission control panel! Very endearing to see today how some of those ideas hit the mark while others not so much. Like, what's with the filigree design pattern on the back of the clock and tuning displays? Cabinet is factory molded in original tan color. The clock and tuning back panel are beige. The clock face is black. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. Not repainted, no over spray no touch up. No repairs to cabinet. None needed. The original grill metal mesh is a white color no dents no dings no missing paint. Aluminum trim is in excellent condition no printing rub off. no dents or dings, no peeling or oxidation. All original knobs securely attached no missing center caps. Tuning window clear plastic window is in excellent condition with no cracks, no chips, no major scratches and no yellowing. This radio is one of the better ones for listening purposes. This radio is over 50 years old! Rare model. Unique design. No other models by any other manufacturers known. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. No back and bottom factory labels. The tuning dial works fine. AM and FM tuning dial pointers move in unison! No slipping and no sticky spots. Volume works no crackling. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time good enough for your next SpaceX flight! Solid state electronics. Replacement LED clock light works and lights up brightly. Clock keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent. No humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Alarm, works. Clock and alarm set time functions work. Alarm buzzer works. Snooze button works. No missing original little clock knobs. Alarm clock set knob is original and securely attached. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Original power cord is in excellent condition no cracks no exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
