Snow White "The Lindsay" Vintage 1954 RCA Victor 6-XF-9E Vacuum Tube AM/FM Radio Sounds and Looks Great!

DESCRIPTION: Cool mid-century styling featuring orthogonal cross hatch grill in factory painted white color on Bakelite cabinet! Tabletop vacuum tube AM/FM radio manufactured by RCA Victor with two speakers in 1950's excellent working condition. Cabinet is original snow white color. Front RCA Victor name plate in great shape. Front tuning aluminum bezel is clean shiny no dents no dings no pitting.  No cracks, chips, splits, or repairs anywhere on top, sides, or front! Molded brown knobs are original and securely attached. This radio features a dual 4" speakers so it sounds great! This radio is one of the better ones for listening purposes. This radio is over 60 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one.  No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. Some amount of "flea bites" dings along edges where the paint has chipped off. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. Picks up AM and FM stations across the dial loudly and clearly. Picks up AM stations with internal antenna without need for external antenna. Picks up FM stations even better with dipole antenna wire included. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The new replacement power cord and plug are brand new working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. Original backing board is in excellent condition with clear factory print. No missing bottom factory labels. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
