DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock alarm radio manufactured by Arvin in the 1959 time frame, in excellent plus physical and working condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory shiny molded light pink color plastic. All original factory molded colors through and through. Not repainted, not over-sprayed, no touch ups. No cracks, chips or major scratches or missing pieces.  The front aluminum bezel has no rust, dents, dings, or major scratches. All lettering is in excellent condition. Front clear tuning cover is in excellent condition with no cracks, no hazing and with clear numbers.

CLOCK: Clock numerals and lettering is clear and legible.  Clock face is in excellent condition with s=no rust, stains or flaking, some loss of white background along the edges. Water stain at 5 o'clock. Original golden metal clock knobs are matching and securely attached.

KNOBS: Original clear volume and tuning knobs with gold inserts are matching and securely attached not yellowed with age. No missing gold metal inserts. The tuning dial works fine, no slipping, no sticky spots. 

LOGO: Arvin logo is pristine. No chips on Arvin lettering.

DIAL LIGHT: None, but one can be added, see below for link to add it to this radio.

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: Original gray power cord and plug are in excellent working condition. No breaks, no splits, no repair with electrical tape, or other. No exposed wiring. Not brittle or overly stiff.

BACKING BOARD: No backing board with this model. Color matching light pink plastic back cover is in excellent plus condition.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: The bottom factory labels are present and legible.
