Cranberry Red 1954 General Electric Model 452 AM Vacuum Tube Radio Great Sounding Excellent Plus Condition!
DESCRIPTION: Big great sounding vintage radio in excellent plus condition! This tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by GE in 1954 timeframe is in excellent plus working and physical condition. No crack on top which is common with the model. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in excellent condition. Original factory molded cranberry red color. No repaints no touchup no overs[ray. None needed. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. This radio is over 60 years old! The knobs are in excellent condition no broken attachment posts. Big sound! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on tuning dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Backing board is in excellent condition with crisp square corners. Bottom original factory tube layout diagram is in good original condition. The original power cord and plug are in very good working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
