DESCRIPTION: This mid century vintage Bulova clock radio has a fine jewelry look to it. High quality manufacturing is apparent inside and out. Tabletop vacuum tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Bulova in 1957 timeframe in excellent working and physical condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in excellent condition. No  chips or major scratches. There is a tight hairline crack on the left side. All original factory molded colors. Not repainted no over spray no touch up. None needed. This radio is over 50 years old! All original everything. The "Bulova" logo is in excellent condition no broken off letters. Front gold metal grill is original with no punctures, dents, warping, or dings. No oxidation or rust. The knobs are in excellent condition. No missing little clock or alarm set knobs. These little clock knobs often go missing over the years so it's nice to find one with all original knobs. The gold paint on the little clock knobs is partially rubbed off due to normal use. The clock face is clean with no tarnishing or greening.  No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. There is a appliance timer function in back. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Backing board is in good condition with crisp square corners. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. Original factory backing board is intact securely mounted nice clean readable print. No missing factory labels. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.
