Clementine Orange 70s Wards Model 2411 Solid State AM Clock Radio Sounds and Looks Great!
DESCRIPTION: So cute! Solid state AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Wards in excellent+ working and physical condition. Made in Taiwan. Remember Wards? Neither do I. Like a Woolworths, JCPenney, or Spiegals catalog merchant. You would order your merchandise from the local general store and it would get delivered. Sound familiar? Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial. Cabinet is in very good condition. Original factory molded orange plastic with leather grain texture. Yow! White front factory molded white plastic is smooth texture. No dial light not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge. Radio dial is brushed aluminum in excellent condition. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. This radio is over 40 years old! The knobs are in excellent working condition. The clock bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing crack in the center. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. No missing clock numerals. No stuck numbers. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. Clock time set function works. Alarm set function works. The alarm does not work. Wake to music no buzzer. The clock works and keep accurate time. Alarm goes off at correct alarm set time. No seconds arm. The clock motor is silent no audible hum not buzzing no ticking sounds. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
