BLUETOOTH MP3: This particular radio has been modified to play Bluetooth MP3. Plays MP3 with cable or wirelessly from any MP3 playing device over 30 ft. Includes 3.5mm to mono RCA cable. Just plug in your MP3 player or connect wirelessly via Bluetooth. Works with any iPod, iPAD, iPhone, or Android. Switch from MP3 to AM radio with rocker switch installed on back panel. Sounds great! Bluetooth receiver is attached with Velcro tape and can be easily relocated to front, back or either side.


DESCRIPTION: Nice turquoise color General Electric vintage vacuum tube radio. All stations around the dial come in loud and clear. Vintage tabletop vacuum tube AM radio manufactured by General Electric in late 1950's in excellent working and physical condition. Cabinet is original factory molded turquoise color that has yellowed evenly to a sea green turquoise color. No cracks, chips, or major scratches.  There is a melted spot on the left front edge. Knobs are original and securely attached. Center gold metal inserts are not missing but have oxidation and rust spots. This radio is over 50 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. The original power cable is in excellent working condition. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The factory original backing board is intact and securely attached with crisp square corners. Factory labels and mostly intact and read-able. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
