BLUETOOTH MP3: This particular radio has been modified to play Bluetooth MP3. Plays MP3 with cable or wirelessly from any MP3 playing device over 30 ft. Includes 3.5mm to mono RCA cable. Just plug in your MP3 player or connect wirelessly via Bluetooth. Works with any iPod, iPAD, iPhone, or Android. Switch from MP3 to AM radio with rocker switch installed on back panel. Sounds great! Bluetooth receiver is attached with Velcro tape and can be easily relocated to front, back or either side.

DESCRIPTION: Understated and elegant. Very popular design back in the early 50s! Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by General Electric in the 1950 excellent working condition. Cabinet is original factory molded Bakelite with simulated blonde wood grain factory painted top and attractive blue and red clock face. Factory painted gold grill. No cracks no chips no major scratches. Mino paint loss on edges and corners to due normal wear and tear. The front metal fascia is in excellent condition with no rust, tarnish and little oxidation. All original everything. All knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is over 60 years old! The on off, sleep, and alarm set knobs are all present and working fine.These little knobs almost always go missing after all these years. The tuning dial works fine. No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge. The replacement power cord and polarized plug is in perfect working condition. Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is quiet no humming buzzing or grinding sounds no ticking noises. Alarm works. Clock and alarm set function work. Sleep function works. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. No exposed wiring. Original backing board is in excellent condition. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. No missing factory labels. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
