DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock alarm radio manufactured by Motorola in the 1959 in excellent physical and working  condition. 

SOUND QUALITY: This radio picks up AM stations real clearly and very loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory shiny molded in pink. All original factory molded colors through and through. No repaints no touch-ups no over sprays. No cracks, chips, or major scratches or missing pieces.  The front clock clear cover is transparent with no cracks, chips or hazing. 

KNOBS: Factory original volume and tuning knobs are securely attached. Not missing gold metal center inserts. The tuning dial works fine but little red painted pointer arrow is nearly rubbed off. No cracked posts. Original factory matching two clear clock function knobs. 

LOGO: No missing logos. Often, these Motorola aluminum logos go missiung.

DIAL LIGHT: NO clock or tuning dial light. Not designed with one, but can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent. Clock and alarm set functions work. Sleep function works. Wake to radio alarm or alarm buzzer works. 

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. 

BACKING BOARD: Original backing board is intact, securely attached, legible printing.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing bottom factory label is missing.

PROVENANCE: Was gently used then stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to moisture, smoking, cooking grease, pets or carpet.
