Art Deco 1952 General Electric Model 60 AM Brown Bakelite Tube Clock Radio Totally Restored!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by General Electric in 1952 excellent+ working condition. This antique radio has a post war industrial look and is even a little Art Deco. No cracks, splits, abrasions, or missing material anywhere on the cabinet! No repairs or repaints of any kind. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without external antenna attachment. Excellent art deco design! Looks very studious, in my opinion. Original brown marble swirly bakelite cabinet is flawless mirror-like glossy condition. The volume knob is original matching ivory bakelite securely attached. Clock works and keeps accurate time. Alarm works, Alarm set works. Clock set works. Sleep function works. This radio is over 60 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is crisp and clear. No missing numbering, dots or dashes, or anything. No smudges or yellowing. The tuning and volume dials work fine. The tubes are working fine. The power cord and plug is in good original working condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
