DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Emerson in 1961 in excellent working and physical condition.
SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly rpiund the dial. This vintage radio plays great with or without an external antenna attachment. This radio is over 60 years old!
CABINET CONDITION: Original factory molded avocado green plastic cabinet. Original fdactory molded color through and through. Not repainted, not touched up, not over sprayed. No cracks, no chips, no major scratches. Front original aluminum control panel is in exellent conditon with no dents or dings. No printing rub off.
KNOBS: All original factory matching knobs are in excellent condition. Volume on/off switch works. Not missing gold metal center inserts. Usually one or both of these go missing over the years.
DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added vor an extra charge.
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
POWER CORD: The brand new replacement power cord and safety polarized plug is in excellent original working condition with no cracks, or split.
FACTORY LABELS: Bottom factory label is intact and readable.
