Turquoise and White 1959 Trav-ler Model T-202 AM Vacuum Tube Radio So Cute! Sounds Wonderful!
DESCRIPTION: Cute tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Trav-ler in 1959 in excellent+ working and physical condition.
SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment.
CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded ivory white plastic with turquoise repainted painted grill. Was originally a factory painted turquoise grill. No chips or major scratches or missing pieces. Beautifully contrasting original factory painted turquoise paint not chipped, no greening or discoloration. No non-original repairs or repaints performed or needed on the cabinet. Cabinet is glossy ivory.
KNOBS: Original ivory volume knob with gold center insert. The original tuning dial works fine. Gold repainted tri-star is not greening no discoloration no chips. Attachment post is intact never broken
LOGO: Trav-ler gold factory logo plaque is intact, no rub off, in excellent condition.
DIAL LIGHT: No tuning dial light. Not designed with one.
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.
BACKING BOARD: Original backing board is intact securely attached. All factory printing is readable. No water stains.
FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: Bottom factory labels is intact excellent condition.
