White Elephant 1952 Zenith K510W AM Vacuum Tube Radio Elephant In The Room Sound!
DESCRIPTION: Clear sounding and loud as heck. This radio has an understated look but an elephant in the room sound and reception quality! Tabletop vacuum tube AM antique radio manufactured by Zenith in 1952 in excellent+ working and physical condition. No cracks. chips or major scratches. Original factory molded Bakelite cabinet. White factory original ivory painted with small paint dings here and there but no huge scrapes or paint chips. Nice round metal tuning circle surround piece is shiny no rust no tarnish no oxidation no discoloration. This vintage radio is over 60 years old! No dial light. Not designed with one but one can be added. No missing logo, ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. No slipping. No rubbing or sticky spots. Original color matching volume and tuning knob are securely attached and unique to this design. Front Zenith badge is in excellent condition. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are excellent original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Backing board is stiff, crisp edges and securely attached. Backing board is original. Secured onto replacement tabs by Velcro to avoid further deterioration of corners and edges. Bottom factory label intact. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
