DESCRIPTION: This Silvertone is in mint condition and sounds wonderful. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. Cabinet is original molded brown plastic. Not repainted. No touch ups. No over spray. None needed, Original factory tweed grill cloth is in excellent condition with no runs, no fraying, no discoloration or stains, and no odors. Volume and tuning knobs are original and securely attached. Front clear tuning window cover is in excellent condition with no cracks, no chips, no major scratches and no micro-inclusions. The original Star Trek looking tuning pointing is totally money! This radio is one of the better ones for listening purposes with clear full frequency sound quality. This radio is over 60 years old! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. No missing logos or labels. The tuning dial works fine. No slipping. Volume works. No dial light not designed with one. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. Brand new replacement power cord and safety polarized plug is in excellent working condition with no breaks fraying or exposed wiring. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. Original factory backing board is in excellent condition with no breaks or fatigued corners. Original factory printing is clear, readable, no water stains. Bottom label is intact. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
