Salmon Pink Retro Mid Century Jetsons Vintage 1958 Philco E-814-124 AM Tube Radio Sounds Great and Near Mint!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Philco in 1958 excellent working condition. Cabinet is original molded salmon pink color. No repaint no over spray no touch up. None needed. These old Jetsons styled radios in rare colors are becoming more and more collectible. Near mint condition with great sound. No cracks on top which is important! No exterior repairs, repaints. None needed. Tuning knob is original and securely attached. The center white plastic cap is not missing which is often the case with this model. Volume knob is original. The little "P" logo on front lower left corner is not missing either which is nice. This radio is one of the better ones for listening purposes. This radio is over 60 years old! Dial light works brightly. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The power cord is a new replacement with no fatigue at the interconnect. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
