DESCRIPTION: Greg Brady called and wants his clock radio back. Tabletop solid state AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Sears in the sixties or seventies excellent+ working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in excellent condition. No cracks, chips, splits, or missing plastic elsewhere on the chassis. The front bezel is clear plastic with no dents or dings. Look at the nice groovy stickers! I think the psychedelic mushroom sticker is priceless, and speaks volumes about its former owner! (Not me). The little guy/gal is probably in his/her 50's now. Hard to believe. This radio is over 45 years old! No dial light not designed with one. All the dial numbers are crisp and clear. The clock keeps accurate time for an analog mechanism. The alarm is easily set and works like a charm. The auto snooze also works. There are no cracks on the top plastic or sides or bottom. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. Original knobs are all present and securely attached. Clean and pretty overall and functional. The tuning and volume knobs work fine. The radio turns on and off easily with a definite click with knob in front. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The power cord and plug are in good working condition. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets. When this radio was new, you could have listened to Dwight D Eisenhower's inaugural address and it's still in 9 out of 10 condition! This thing belongs in a museum!
