DESCRIPTION: This vintage tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm was manufactured by RCA Victor in 1957. The antique radio is in excellent working and physical condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. The pink cabinet is in excellent condition. No cracks, no chips, no major scratches. Shines like factory new. The white grill portion has one corner crack that has been repaired on the bottom. No other front grill cracks, chips, or major scratches. Original factory molded colors. Not repainted, no touch up, no over spray. This radio is over 60 years old!  The knobs are in excellent condition. The clear dial face is in excellent condition with no cracks no chips and no major scratches. The clock bezel is clear and transparent, not yellowing, no cracks, no inclusions and securely attached. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. The dial lights lights up brightly. Dial light replaced with modern LED so it's brighter and never needs replacing. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping and no sticky spots. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time no humming no buzzing no grinding no ticking noises. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work and go off at the correct set times. Sleep timer works. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Factory original bottom labels are intact and readable. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
