Original factory molded Bakelite repainted in original gray paint. Refinish is smooth and glossy and matching original color paint. The front silver metal mesh grill is in excellent condition with no holes, dents dings, or scratches. The clock clear cover is cracked in numerous places. \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKNOBS: All volume and tuning knobs are original, matching, and securely attached. The tuning dial works fine and is securely attached. Tuning has two dial speeds which is nifty. No slipping. Clock motor is silent. Alarm works. Clock and alarm set functions work. Sleep timer works. All the dial numbering is crisp and clear. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. Both Intermediate Frequency Transformers (IFTs) have been rebuilt to ensure static-free performance and better reception quality. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
