Record feature works. Eject button works door opens and closes and stays shut. Cassette door hinges are solid not cracked or mis-aligned and stays securely shut when not in use. Cassettes not included. Eject button does not pop the cassette door open. Sometimes you need to pry the door open with the tip of your fingernail. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations.
