There is a hairline crack along the top ridge that has been repaired and reinforced from underneath. There are numerous small front edge chips. The front aluminum decorative trim piece is original excellent condition. All original factory molded colors through and through. Not repainted. No over spray no touch up.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSOUND QUALITY: This radio picks up AM stations real clearly and very loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKNOBS: The volume and tuning knobs are original matching ivory color plastic with silver metal inserts. Tuning knob works with no slipping, sticky, or stuck spots. The tuning knob is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or broken attachment post and securely attached.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eINTERNAL ELECTRONICS: The capacitors been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices.
