DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM radio manufactured by Motorola in 1957 time frame in excellent working and excellent physical condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations very clearly and very loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. 

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded sea green plastic. Not repainted. No touch up. No over spray. Typical hairline crack on top by the back edge. Examples of this model series almost always have a crack on top by the back edge. There no chips, or major scratches or missing pieces. Heat shield has been installed underside to reduce possibility of heat cracking in the future. The tuning front fascia is in excellent condition with no water stains, no discoloration, a few small oxidation trails. Front tuning bubble cover is in excellent condition with no cracks, no chips, no broken attach tabs Bubble tuning cover is clear and securely attached.

KNOBS:  Matching black plastic tuning and and volume barrel knobs. The tuning numbers are clear and readable no rub off. Top ON OFF button is original yellowed with age not cracked. 

LOGO: No missing Motorola logo. Grill "M" logo is original factory chrome not repainted. Few small paint dings.

DIAL LIGHT: Top ON OFF button light is working and lights up when radio is turned on.

CLOCK: No clock

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.

BACKING BOARD: Original factory backing board is in excellent condition and securely mounted. Water stained. Factory printing is a little faded. Antenna housing is securely attached no broken attachment tabs

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing factory labels.
