DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by GE General Electric in 1959 excellent working and very good physical condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is in very good condition with repaired hairline crack on top. The front clear clock cover is in excellent condition no cracks, chips, or major scratches. No stains, rust, or discoloration on white clock face. There are small chips on front edge corners and back top edge.
KNOBS: The knobs are in excellent condition and securely attached. Gold metal insert for volume knob is slightly tarnished. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. Internal attach post is intact not cracked with clear numbers. Factory original volume is in excellent condition with no missing metal center insert. Original matching clock function knobs.
LOGO: No missing logo.
DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. Both Intermediate Frequency Transformers (IFTs) have been rebuilt to ensure static-free performance. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications.
CLOCK: The clock works quietly and keeps accurate time. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Alarm and clock set function works and goes off at the correct set times. Buzzer alarm works. Wake to radio or radio with buzzer. Sleep timer works.
POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. Bottom factory label is mostly intact. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
BACKING BOARD: The backing board is factory original. No crack or rips.
FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: Back label is partially intact. Yellowed and water stained.
PROVENANCE: Previous owner identity is not known. Was gently used then stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to cigarette smoking, moisture, or pets. Was probably used in or near kitchen for much of its life.
