DESCRIPTION: Tabletop solid state transistor radio manufactured by Zenith in 1965 time frame in excellent physical and working condition.
CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded ivory white color plastic. Original factory molded colors through and through. Not repainted, not touched up or over sprayed. Clear original clear plastic clock window is in excellent condition, not cracked, no chips, not yellowed with age, not warping and securely attached, clear letters not rubbed off. Clock display back panel is in very good condition with no rust or water stains some oxidation trails.
SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM and FM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without an external antenna.
KNOBS: Original factory matching tuning and volume dials work fine. Securely attached. Original matching clock function knobs no broken posts no stripped inner slots.
DIAL LIGHT: No clock or tuning light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.
CLOCK: Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Alarm set function works. Alarm works. Clock set works. Sleep timer works
LOGOS: Logo and painted raised printing on the cabinet is crisp and clear with minimal rub off.
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.
POWER CORD: Original power cord and plug are in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair.
BACKING BOARD: Original backing board intact excellent condition.
PROVENANCE: Previous owner identity is not known. Was gently used then stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to cigarette smoking, moisture, or pets. Was probably used in or near kitchen for much of its life.
FACTORY LABELS: Bottom factory labels are intact and readable. Back factory printing is also readable
