INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: This radio is over 80 years old and looks practically brand new inside!I It worked fine when I plugged it in. After 2 hours, it was still playing loudly and clearly without humming or buzzing or frequency drift. It was so clean inside, I was reluctant to replace a single component because I decided it was better to keep it all original than to start cutting into the wires and replacing with modern components. It survived all these years untouched, working fine, why mess with it? Even the filter capacitors was working fine with no hum. The tubes are working fine. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.

POWER CORD: Hard to believe, the original power cord is still in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair or stiffness or brittleness.

BACKING BOARD: No backing board in the design.

FACTORY LABELS: Factory labels intact on the bottom.
