DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Shelburn Industries for MacLeod's Department Stores in Canada in 1955 time frame in excellent working and very good physical condition. Leave it to the Canadians to come up with such a unique looking and lastingly novel design. As close as you will get to the rarest unobtainium for a radio. This one is particularly rare, hard-to-come-by, because it a radio-only version. Most come with clock.

CABINET CONDITION: Original factory molded grey-ish lavender-ish beige-ish color plastic is in very good condition. Not repainted, not touched up, not over-sprayed. There is a thin long hairline heat crack on the top upper section. No chips, warping or major scratches. splits, abrasions, or missing material anywhere on the cabinet!Front two ivory grill panels are in excellent condition with no cracks, no chips, no warping, and securely attached. Original factory molded matching ivory plastic is not repainted, not touched up and not over sprayed.

KNOBS: Volume knob is original matching ivory plastic securely attached. Tuning knob is original matching ivory plastic securely attached no broken mount post. Still has the original felt backing underneath.

DIAL LIGHT: No dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge.

CLOCK: No clock. Yea, most other Shelburns you've seen have a clock. How many Shelburns have you seen without the clock?
