DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Silvertone in 1957 in excellent working condition and physical condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Has tone knob that works.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded bright pinkish orangish plastic. Not repainted.  No cracks, chips, or major scratches. Not repainted, no over spray, no touch up. None needed. Replacement nylon grill fabric has no rips, separated edges, no runs, no discolorations and no stains. Fabric weave  pattern is aligned vertically and horizontally. Clear tuning window is nt cracks, no micro-inclusions, no micro-swirls. Broadcast broadcast frequency numbers are clear and readable. Chrome trim is intact with no fading or rub off. Left side manufacturer sticker is original slightly worn.

KNOBS: All three matching pink knobs are original and securely attached. Faded to light pink. No missing gold metal inserts. Function printing is faded but readable.

LOGO: Original tri-star logo applique on grill center is missing.

DIAL LIGHT: Tuning dial light works. 

CLOCK: no clock

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are in excellent condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.

BACKING BOARD: Original backing board is intact no broken attach corners. Printing is faded.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: No missing bottom labels. Intact but yellowed not peeling

DIMENSIONS: Approximately 14" x 6" x 6" (l x w x h)

WEIGHT: 4 lbs 8 oz

COLOR: Really bright pink, like flame pink or hot pink
