DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM clock alarm radio manufactured by Arvin in 1959 time frame in excellent physical and working condition.

SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Dual speakers for better sound quality. Working tone control adjust high and low audio tones.

CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory shiny molded coral red color plastic. All original factory molded colors through and through. Not repainted, not over-sprayed, no touch ups. No chips or major scratches or missing pieces. There are hairline cracks on the back cover. The front bezel has no cracks, chips or major scratches. All lettering is in excellent condition. Factory original grill cloth is in excellent plus condition. No rips, no stains, no runs, no funny smells. Front clear tuning cover is in excellent condition with no cracks no hazing and with clear numbers.

KNOBS: Original knobs are matching and securely attached not overly yellowed with age. No missing gold metal inserts. The tuning dial works fine, no slipping, no sticky spots. 

LOGO: Arvin logo is pristine. No chips on Arvin lettering or "Twin Speaker" label

DIAL LIGHT: Tuning dial light works. 

INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. Both intermediate frequency transformers (IFTs) have been rebuilt to insure against undesirable static noise in the future. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.

POWER CORD: Original gray power cord and plug are in excellent working condition. No breaks, no splits, no repair with electrical tape, or other. No exposed wiring. Not brittle or overly stiff.

BACKING BOARD: No backing board with this model. Color matching red plastic back cover is in very good condition.

FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: The bottom factory labels are present and legible, one corner of one of the labels is missing.
